Walkthrough:

  • Defeat the prison guards and free Mayong 0/1 (Basilica of Adumbration)
    • 2 adds will spawn to begin, after 1 mini will spawn, this will emote DA on random people
Then 2 more adds will spawn, after the 2nd mini will spawn, this will gflux emote people off the side, you can be in the start room around the corner or along the balcony to not be gfluxed off the side

Throughout this phase there will be auras to avoid on the emote about Lights, these auras have a Silence + DoT, they will path opposite ways each time, one long down the hall, then other across the short part

After all of this, go through the doorway on the other side of the zone in, to the final boss

During the final boss there will be purple decals, can stay outside of them unless they have a white decal in the middle, this is a safe spot inside of the purple, there will also be yellow decals, don't go in these
At roughly 45, 30 and 15% jailers will spawn and aggro, they must be defeated to unlock boss for defeat

Instead of running all around, just setup camp in one of the middle rooms.  You can pull the mobs a few feet into the room but not too far or it will leash.  This way, you don't have to worry about the purple auras on the east and west, and at most your tank will get hit once or twice with the east west auras.

I have two questions on this mission.

I was doing this missing (Warr, Bard, Sham, Druid, merc cleric, merc rogue)... and normally I mez one of the Thall Tetoracu Liako with bard. I beat down the unmezzed mob and leave other mezzed if someone needs to recoup. Then we kill the 2nd mob and go pull the golem Fade. Basically it's a rinse and repeat on Umber. I tried this last night and when I pulled Umber I had three shadowstone jailer's come with Umber. I thought the jailers didn't spawn until the main boss was attacked and down a certain percentage in hp?

Second question - When killing Keltakun does he deactivate when the jailers spawn or does he keep attacking... I haven't made it to this point yet.

He stays active during the add spawns, never seen his adds prior to him though

The jailers at the end spawn at 45, 30 and 15% (if you're working on achievements).

    Some tips:
Mezzable mobs: anytime the wave consists of 2 mobs, and jailers at end

First Golem is Fade: It first gives you a debuff called "Fade Out" that doesn't seem that severe, however after that is "Faded Out" and that is 30 seconds of silence. Healers need to get heal over time spells going if they are targeted. This is usually a good time to burn as a group as Fade is the area where most people are likely to wipe.

Second Golem is Umbra. He has the emote - "Umber claps its hands". After this emote you have about 19 seconds before 4 people in group are pushed in the direction of the open balcony. Best for group to fight in a room to avoid the push. If you do get pushed below, just run towards the platform and jump off and you will get ported back to start of mission. Other groups opt to clear a couple of mobs on stairs pre-fight to help those that get knocked below.

On final boss fight, you get these large yellow and purple auras. I don't exactly know the meaning, but it does seem to be a good time to not be moving, as I think you get stunned less. Small yellow auras can be avoided, although I don't know what happens if you are in one.

3 jailers spawn based on the health of the final boss. First jailer spawns at about 45% final boss health. To get the achievement "Complete Control" you need to kill each jailer before the next one spawns. The best way to do that is to limit the damage on the boss. Stop attacking boss when a jailer appears, and limit the dots/pets on the boss.

You must zone in to receive Credit/loot for this mission.

If you get bounced below, you can invis and run back up stairs. However, when the clap emote is about to hit, find a corner to sit in to avoid getting flung again, and reapply invis and run back. This worked for me ;) (P.S. avoid mobs during this run for when the clap goes off as it breaks invis)
